Trending fashion statements are all the rave within the fashion world. Recently I have become obsessed with the new styles and designs that have taken an uprising. Anything from bustiers, cutouts, blazers, to platform sneakers I have been all about. The crazy thing is, I used to be so against these trends. I hated the color brown and I thought bustiers were suffocating and uncomfortable. Although the longer these fashion statements seem to be trending the more I find my love for them. Seriously, every time I go on a shopping trip I find myself gravitating towards these trending fashion pieces.
In light of my recent obsessions I have decided to wright up a little blog post all about these various styles that I have been loving. The different arrays of fashion from clothing pieces, accessories, and cool new designs, I have included. Ready to up your style?
These are the trendy fashion items I will be adding to my cart.
Bustiers and Corsets
Never, in a million years, did I think that I would hop on the bustier and corset train wagon but here we are. When these first became a trend I was not impressed. First of all, I thought they kind of sent the wrong message. The reason being is because you know back in the 1800’s when woman were supposed to wear significantly small corsets to make their waste appear tiny. It was super unhealthy and damaging to women’s core area. Yes, well that’s what I thought was cycling back around when this trend first came back around. I know, kind of stupid, I laugh at myself to this day. Little did I know that it’s just a style and most of the corsets today are not used for the purposes they were in the past. Now, I am in love and can’t get enough of this trend.
Brown on Everything
Again, I used to despise the color brown but recently, things have changed. I was not a huge fan of the color to begin with but now I am literally looking for it in almost every area of fashion. Whether it be shoes, hoodies, crop tops, or pants, I am obsessed. Don’t ask me what changed because to be honest, I have no idea! I guess I’ve just come to the realization that it goes really well with different skin pigments and hair colors. It is a color suitable for almost anyone!
Chunky Gold Hoop Earrings
Bold gold pieces of jewelry are a must for me. They are just stunning and can really accentuate any given outfit. Chunky gold hoop earrings can be paired perfectly with a casual or fancy fit to give it a classy, rich style. I think that’s why I love these trendy fashion pieces. They are so small yet they can really make a bold statement.
Wear Lingerie Out
All I can say is yes to this trend. Wearing a gorgeous, lace bralette as a top or a dainty, slip as a dress is absolute perfection. I love this new found fashion statement because it embraces femininity. It can also be paired with literally anything. A blazer would give it a complete boss-girl look, pair the bralette with jeans if you’re feeling more casual, or even joggers for lounging around the house, and the slip can be worn with practically any pair of shoes (cowgirl boots are my favorite). Wear this style with whatever you fancy to feel womanly and empowered all day long.
Blazers
Blazers are the ultimate boss-girl staple piece. They are not just classy but also versatile as they can be worn both casually or formally. Style it with a basic crop top, jean shorts, and gold jewelry for a simple on-the-go fit. Have an event to go to? Dress it up by pairing them with a laced bralette and neutral toned trousers. Blazers are a must-have closet staple that every girl should own.
Cutouts
The moment cutouts became a trend, I have since been obsessed. They are just so different and unique, like nothing you’ve really seen before. My favorites are bodycon, cutout mini dresses, so sexy and feminine, they are the piece that can really make heads turn.
Platform Sneakers
Platform sneakers, the ultimate pair of shoes that I just can’t get enough of. Casual yet unprecedented, they are the go-to pair of shoes when you want to mellow down an outfit but still look cool. Have these be your next, new pair of shoes, you’ll thank me later.
